As a Cloud Operations Engineer you'll join our Infrastructure Department and your primary focus will be designing and maintaining blockchain-based systems and working closely with dynamic team of SysOps, Developers, Architects, SecOps and other departments to continue to deliver excellence at Bitstamp.
Requirements
- Design, develop and maintain blockchain-based systems and applications that support Bitstamp's custody operations.
- Automation of infrastructure and processes.
- Contribute to the development of Bitstamp's overall technical custody strategy and participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues, both independently and with the assistance of other team members.
On day one you'll bring
- Knowledge of Linux and Docker.
- Experience with Node.js, React, Python or other high-level programming language, and other relevant frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
We'll love it even more if you have
- Experience in blockchain engineering (preferably fintech or financial services industry).
- Good knowledge of MySQL.
- Experience with the use of IaaS providers, such as AWS.
