Hybrid:Please note that no relocation or sponsorship opportunities exist for this role, and that the candidate must be based in Zagreb. This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being able to work in-office a few days a week.
We’re looking for an inspiring senior frontend engineer to join our 20+ person Croatian team in Zagreb focused on building the software that powers the next generation of the workplace.
In this role, you will- Work closely with your teammates to solve hard problems and find simple and elegant solutions- Improve the codebase and product by identifying best practices and new technologies, and planning how to smoothly integrate them- Pair up, mentor, share your experience, and learn from your fellow engineers- Develop and style intuitive user experiences using and crafting reusable components across all of our platforms -- and write tests to ensure the ongoing quality of your team’s work
You are qualified if you have- A deep understanding of the client-side ecosystem including HTTP, TLS, web browsers and their quirks, HTML, and CSS- 5+ years using JavaScript and/or Typescript- At least two years working with React- Familiarity with Node.js and front-end build tools- Experience building responsive web applications- Knowledge of testing frameworks and how to write effective tests
